ESG Business Data Analyst (Contract)

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months Initially
Rate: £490/day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Location: London 3-4 days per week onsite

Essential experience and skills:

• 8–10 years’ experience as a Business Data Analyst, ESG Data Analyst or Data Governance professional.
• Strong background within Asset Management, Investment Management or Financial Services.
• Hands-on experience with ESG data providers such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS ESG, S&P Global ESG and CDP.
• Experience producing BRDs, FRDs, process maps, data mappings and business rules.
• Strong knowledge of ESG/sustainability datasets, corporate tree/issuer hierarchy data, data governance and data quality.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have experience:

• ESG certifications (CFA ESG, GARP SCR etc.)

Soft Skills:

• Highly organised and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating within complex enterprise customer environments.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating within fast-paced project teams.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Proactive approach with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
