Finance Manager

The Role:
Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team on permanent basis. The role will be based remotely. As part of this role, you will work in the corporate division, you will be the business partner to the Sales Managers, acting as their key Finance contact. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of forecasting, building relationships with key business partners and sales team. The role will suit someone who is proactive in coming up with solutions to problems involving the necessary resource. You will be the go-to person for input on financial aspects of the Corporate sales team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monthly reporting including P&L, balance sheet, stock and cash-flow forecasting
  • Partnering with operational staff to produce accurate forecasts on a timely basis, including Operations, Resourcing, Project Management and Corporate sales team
  • Mentoring Corporate sales team on organisations systems and sales forecasting processes and attending monthly sales team meetings
  • Partnering with sales team on formulation of financial models for propositions and assisting in resolving customer disputes.
  • Building relationships with key customers to resolve issues quickly
  • Annual business planning
  • Working capital management
  • Assisting with year-end audit, dealing with any queries relating to the Corporate division
  • Working closely with the wider Finance team
  • Developing & implementing processes and seeking process improvements to facilitate the timely production of financial & commercial MI

You will have experience in:

  • Part qualified/newly qualified as ACCA / CIMA.
  • Effective business partnering in a larger scale organisation
  • Strong analysis skills and commerciality, able to liaise with various stakeholders inside and outside the organisation at all levels, including non-finance
  • Knowledge of implementing processes and process improvement
  • Good systems experience both financial ledgers & forecasting/planning
  • Technical awareness of financial reporting regulations
  • Problem solver
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Able to see the bigger picture whilst retaining attention to detail
