Britain is experiencing a critical shortage of workers with specialist IT skills. At Future Decoded 2018, Curo Talent and its team of expert IT consultants will be available to advise business owners facing challenges associated with the IT skills gap. The experts will be on the Curo Talent stand, number 47 from 31 October until 1 November at the ExCel London.

Now in its fourth year, Future Decoded is Microsoft’s annual conference on disruptive technology for business. Last year’s event welcomed over 12,000 guests and 68 specialist Microsoft exhibitors to the two-day conference. This year, Microsoft promises to deliver an even wider array of companies and experts to the event.

Future Decoded 2018 will see Microsoft recruitment partner, Curo Talent exhibit from stand 47. The company will discuss how new digital technologies and challenges are changing businesses, and how these organisations can grow while experiencing such significant technological disruption.

Working in partnership with some of the best IT contractors in their field, Curo Talent has built the most respected community of IT freelancers in the country. At Future Decoded, the company will welcome a selection of these experts to their stand to discuss IT challenges with attendees.

“Technology is changing the way businesses operate,” explained Graham Smith, marketing manager at Curo Talent. “However, it is also causing great challenges for those who do not employ IT specialists in these areas of expertise — think artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, blockchain and cybersecurity.

“In fact, a recent report states that 45 per cent of organisations are severely lacking in cybersecurity skills, as an example. This is a damning figure, considering the potential risk of not maintaining cybersecurity in today’s age. At Future Decoded, several of our freelancers will be at hand to provide guidance on managing these new IT challenges.”

Future Decoded welcomes an array of professionals, from business leaders and C-suite executives to experts working in IT. The event, which is held from 31 October to 1 November, is free to attend, but visitors are encouraged to register in advance, on the Microsoft Future Decoded website.
