Infrastructure Architect (Contract)

Our Global Enterprise client is hiring an Architect with solid experience in service maintenance and monitoring, to join their team for 12 months.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 Months (initially)
Rate: up to £560 per day (please note, Employer NI is paid for by the client)
IR35 Status: Inside
Location: Heathrow

NOTE: Active SC Clearance is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Monitor metrics provided by the services through various mechanisms like BES, the ECP Platform Health Dashboard, CloudWatch metrics.
• Maintain and update application code used within each of the services, such as but not limited to – Python runtime and dependencies
• Terraform configurations
• GitHub Actions workflows
• Create, maintain and execute runbooks/playbooks against incidents and service requests.
• Create, maintain, and update tests and test infrastructure, such as but not limited to – Unit Tests and Synthetic Tests
• BES Monitoring
• Integration with ECP Platform Health Dashboard
• Ensure GitHub deployment workflows remain operational, including but not limited to – Testing
• Reverting configuration created by the service when it risks operational availability (such as an erroneous firewall rule)
• Service Review and Feedback to ECP Stakeholders on service metrics and incidents, including feedback from customers.
