The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the organisation’s Azure estate, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and cost efficiency across cloud services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of the Azure environment.
• Monitor, maintain and optimise Azure infrastructure and services.
• Manage Azure networking, security, identity and access controls.
• Support cloud governance, policy implementation and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Azure platform issues and incidents.
• Manage Azure resources, subscriptions and resource groups.
• Drive performance, scalability and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security and application teams.
• Support implementation of best practices across cloud operations.
• Contribute to cloud migration, modernisation and continuous improvement projects.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Azure Active Directory / Entra ID administration.
• Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking and Compute services.
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and performance monitoring tools.
• Azure Security Centre / Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Experience with Azure governance, policies and RBAC.
• SC Clearance is highly desirable.
