Location: Remote (some travel to client site when required for meetings – North UK)
Duration: 12 Months initially

Summary of the Role and key responsibilities:

• Experienced solutions architect.
• Extensive experience with Software as a Service product selection and implementation.
• Deep technical knowledge designing and working with microservices, APIs and file-based transfers.
• Event-based architecture design and patterns.
• Design technical solutions (products and services) to meet user needs and align with the customer’s technical strategy and standards.
• Provide a consistent set of solution views, that communicate and describe the construction of the solution to all stakeholders.
• Champion solution communication, making the complex simple to understand.
• Leading the delivery, technical and architecture design of Enterprise scale systems covering at least one of people, finance, commercial, estates.
• Support delivery teams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create value-for-money solutions.
• Identify and implement architecture patterns.
• Resolve technical debt to reduce ongoing IT costs.
• Develop product roadmaps and represent designs at governance forums.
• Public cloud technologies and design patterns.
• Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.

Technical Skills required:

• Expert solutions architect.
• Working experience microservices, APIs and file-based transfers.
• Expert in creation of a consistent set of solution views.
