We are currently recruiting for an Ad Hoc Field Support Engineer to provide onsite hands-and-feet support for a customer based in Kildare, Ireland.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 10 Days (Ad Hoc)
Day Rate: Competitive
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Location: Kildare, Ireland (Onsite)

The Role:
We’re looking for an engineer who can be called upon as required to provide onsite support when physical IT intervention is needed.

Typical activities will include:

• Laptop hardware replacements and repairs.
• Hardware break/fix activities.
• Switch replacement and rack-based hardware swaps.
• General onsite hands-and-feet support.
• Supporting the remote IT team by carrying out physical changes on-site.

Key Skills Required:

• Desktop Support experience.
• Hardware break/fix support.
• Laptop and PC hardware troubleshooting.
• Network switch replacement experience.
• Strong onsite support and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently when attending site.

Soft Skills:

• Strong ownership mentality.
• Delivery and outcome focused.
• Proactive approach to removing blockers.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
