Mimecast Consultant (Contract)

We are currently recruiting for a Mimecast Consultant to support a customer engagement focused on completing a structured Mimecast Health Check and providing recommendations to improve their security posture and maximise value from the platform.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2.5 Days Total
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Location: Remote
PAYE Rates:

• Pay Rate: £457/day
• Total Daily Earnings: £514/day (includes rolled up holiday at £55/day)
• Umbrella Rate: £592/day

The Role:
The successful consultant will complete a structured Mimecast Health Check to review the customer’s current configuration, understand how key capabilities are being used, and identify any gaps, risks, or opportunities for improvement.
As part of the engagement, you will produce a findings and recommendations report and lead a review session to walk the customer through the outcomes and proposed next steps.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong Mimecast administration and configuration experience.
• Experience conducting Mimecast Health Checks and assessments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

Engagement Breakdown:

• Mimecast & Microsoft 365 Assessment (Discovery and Tenant Review) – 1 Day.
• Assessment Report and Findings Documentation – 1 Day.
• Follow-up Review Session and Next Steps Discussion – 0.5 Day.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting capability.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Ability to provide clear and practical recommendations.
